Heartbreaker!

This week I got the pleasure of shooting this beautiful child. In just a few weeks I will be shooting his new brother or sister, so of course we had to give him a photo shoot all of his own. I couldn't believe how I had forgotten how sweet and precious the voice of a 3 year old was. Each and every time I heard him say "Ms Wooby", I melted. Thank goodness he didn't ask me for anything because I don't believe I could have told him no.

Oh and did I mention his smile and laugh is SUPER contagious?!!

the SUN can be your friend!

Is it possible to take a beautiful picture in full on sun? I believe so. This girl is so stunning and amazing. She was able to take these pictures in the full sun without creasing her forehead and without intense squinting....like I said, AMAZING. A fellow photographer, whom I really respect had this to say, "I think the lighting looks amazing Rubes. I am so serious! Full sun, a blonde girl in a black shirt? Way to master that light, baby!". I'm grinning from ear to ear on this compliment.





This Senior LOVES cars, so ofcourse we had to take a few with her love.

It's a new year...

Yep..It's a new year and although I swore I would post to my blog regularly, I have yet to do so. It's that time of year where we will be shooting Seniors, Seniors and more Seniors. Here's a session I just finished. As you can see...she is stunning.
